We have been to many incredible places, but Rosie Villa in Hoi An has something special, and we felt it since we crossed the door that oozes with ancient stories. This Rosie Villa review will help you decide the best accommodation in Hoi An.
We went back to Hoi An for round two of our incredible Vietnam itinerary and decided to spend more time in town. However, we needed a special place, and Rosie Villa fitted the bill.
As we travel a lot, we feel the need to give genuine thought to accommodation or even tours and guides. We are ready to explain the best features and why it is a great place to stay in Hoi An for luxury travellers.

Rosie Villa Hoi An Review – Overall
These are some of the best features we highlight every time we suggest Rosie Villa as accommodation in Hoi An.
First Impressions of Rosie Villa
You know that feeling when you step into a place and immediately feel at ease? That’s exactly what happened when we arrived at Rosie Villa. Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood (the best area to stay in Hoi An).
The villa is a renovated traditional Chinese-style house on two floors. Our villa had a pool by the bedroom, a nice touch with Chinese clementine trees, and tropical vibes throughout.
We were constantly in touch with the management, who followed our journey meticulously, ensuring everything was alright at every turn.

The Rooms: Where Comfort Meets Style
Let’s start by saying that the whole property might be old. Still, it is finely renovated, respecting the traditional Vietnamese style and the modern needs of travellers.
The rooms are, honestly, unique. It’s actually a piece of the house where Rosie Villa shines brightest, yes, even more than the private pool. Each room is spacious, spotless, and designed with simplicity in mind. To be honest, we didn’t make enough use of the 1st floor balcony; after all, two days went by quickly.
The bed? Oh, it was like sleeping on a cloud. And trust me, after a long day exploring Hoi An’s bustling streets, you’ll want nothing more than to sink into that mattress.
We stayed in one of their private pool villas (yes, you read that right—your own pool!). It was perfect for cooling off after braving the midday heat. If you are a backpacker like us, always mindful of the budget, staying here might be off-limits, but it’s worth it.

Rosie Villa is close to everything without the noise
One of Rosie Villa’s biggest perks is its location. It’s far enough from the touristy Old Town to give you peace and quiet but close enough that getting there is a breeze. You can also rent a bike (free of charge by the Villa) and reach the centre in under 10 minutes.
For beach lovers, An Bang Beach is just a short ride away, too, about $2$ taking a Bolt or Grab. We spent two days in Hoi An, a day trip from Da Nang (where we spent over a month tasting the digital nomad scene), and parked our motorbike within the gates.

Privacy: Your own slice of paradise
As said above, one thing that matters is a nice night’s sleep—no car noises and pure relaxation. If privacy is high on your list, too (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t want that?), Rosie Villa delivers it.
Unlike staying in a hotel, where you’re constantly bumping into other guests, here, you have your own space to unwind. We had neighbours during our stay, but the level of privacy was great.
Amenities: Everything you need
Rosie Villa isn’t flashy, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Here are some highlights:
Why should you stay at Rosie Villa?
Here’s where we get real with you. Rosie Villa isn’t for everyone—and that’s okay! If you’re looking for 24/7 room service and bustling hotel lobbies, this might not be your vibe.
However, if you value privacy, comfort, and a touch of luxury without breaking the bank? This is hands-down one of the best accommodations in Hoi An we’ve come across.
Backpackers will appreciate the affordable options and free bikes for exploring deeper areas or venturing out of the usual routes. First-timers will love how easy it is to get around from here while still having a peaceful retreat to return to at night.

Tips for Staying at Rosie Villa
Before you pack your bags, here are some tips to make your stay even better:
Book Early: This place is popular (and for a good reason), so rooms fill up fast. Check availability here.
Use Those Bikes: Hoi An is incredibly bike-friendly. Plus, it’s way more fun than taking taxis everywhere. The old town’s vehicles are free, so there is no way to get in with a moped or taxi.
Try Local Food Nearby: One night, skip the tourist traps in Old Town and check out some local eateries near the villa.
Plan Beach Days: An Bang Beach is stunning but can get crowded—go early or late afternoon for fewer people.
Ask for Recommendations: The staff knows all the hidden gems in town; don’t be shy about asking!
